The PURPOSE of our women's ministry is to glorify God by equipping women to live out the biblical principles of womanhood within the gospel community of the church and to cultivate God-given gifts in multi-generational discipleship, encouragement, hospitality, and service.

The Women's Bible Study meets at 6:30pm the first Wednesday of each month, following the 6:00pm prayer meeting. We meet in the upstairs overflow room. Childcare is available. We are currently studying the book of James. For more information,

2026 Upcoming Events

APRIL: The Tennessee Valley Presbytery Women’s Ministry is sponsoring a conference at Covenant Presbyterian in East Brainerd on Saturday, April 25, from 9-3.  Paula Miles will speak on the “Body, Bride, and Building” of Christ and several breakout workshops are planned. The cost is $20 for food and handouts, and the deadline to register is April 18. MAY: Please join us on Friday, May 15 at 12pm for a lunch picnic at McCoy Farms. This is an event for all Wayside women and any children that would like to join us. Bring your lunch, a blanket or chairs, and some

outdoor toys for your children and join us for a relaxing afternoon under the shade of the park trees. We hope to see you there!! Psalms of Study: 86-93.
